No. Therapy Alberta offers free mental health education, not therapy. We don't provide sessions, assessments or treatment, and we can't give advice about your situation by message. Our library and courses can help you understand what you're going through, but they don't replace care from a therapist who knows you. You can read more in our Medical & Clinical Disclaimer.

Yes. The library, courses and community are all free. Some parts, like the community, need you to create a free account with an email.

Constellations is a free, private community for adults in Alberta. You can join on our community page.

Our directory of trauma-sensitive therapists in Alberta is in progress. Join Constellations as a professional, then apply to be listed from inside the community. 

We verify each therapist's permit or registration number with their regulatory body. Their education, training, approaches and specialties are self-reported. You're always welcome to ask a therapist about their training and experience before you book.

Anyone can help keep the library free with a donation, big or small. Organizations and leaders can request custom projects or collaborate with us. Therapists and other professionals can write a page, write for our blog or share a video for the library.  Our contribute page has more details.

No. Therapy Alberta is a profit-for-good corporation, not a registered charity, so donations aren't tax-deductible. PayPal will email you a receipt for your payment.
